The purpose of this website is to provide information to those with hip and knee pain.  My name is Paul Nourbash and I am a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon that is fellowship trained in in Adult Reconstruction of the Hip and the Knee.  

It is my goal to help you deal with your joint pain without surgery.  This web page is will teach you about the treatment options that are available.  Hopefully this web page will help ease some of your anxiety.

It is common sense, but sometimes people need to be reminded of the simple fact that there is no magic bullet or snake oil that will solve all of your problems.  If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  There are many proven treatments for arthritis that are effective.    

Surgery is scary, but I will tell you two things that are even more terrifying; 

-Severe joint pain that takes away your independence, keeping you from caring for yourself. 

-Severe joint pain that causes you to fall and break bones in your hip, pelvis, or back.  This will result in hospitalization.
